The award season is already upon us! We've been nominated for a few categories in the Itis.now Radio awards. Best male Vocalist , Best Americana Act , and Best Independent Single . Hot on the heels of Folk Radio Friday nomintating A Season in Hell as album of the week , UK Country Radio have done the same – you'll hear cuts from the album on every show this week – including this month's featured track, Rank Bad Yin .

I was sitting having a cheeky snifter in Edinburgh when I got word that he lovely folks at Folk Friday Radio have made A Season in Hell the album of the week! Fantastic. And great to hear three of the tracks being played on their show.

UK Country Radio have just revealed their most-heard songs for 2025 and we had two entries in the #4 slot for I Know Jesus Would and the #7 slot for Swan Song . That's quite a coup, particularly since the only other artist who did he same was Shaboozey at #5 and #8 – the latter being for Pour Me a Drink, which sat on top of the country charts for, well, months. 2026 is off to a good start!

Coming full circle from photocopying inlays in the office during a lunch break to a professionally produced and mastered item – the new album is now out on cassette. At least it will be once we figure out how to add it to the site...
